Myspace is launching another new design. It looks a lot like Pinterest, but with music.
For our younger audience, Myspace dominated social media way back in the olden days (before Facebook). Every kid wasted hours and hours on Myspace, instant-messaging friends and choosing pretty backgrounds. Then Facebook came along, and preteens and young adults fled from Myspace like rats from a sinking ship. For a long time, the only people left on Myspace were musicians.
Then Justin Timberlake rode into Myspace-ville on a white horse and poured some (but not really that much) money into the company. Earlier this year, the company announced that they had gained over a million new users. Well La Ti Freakin Da!
Well, at least they are probably real.
Now about that new Myspace layout. Its pretty. It looks a lot like Pinterest, but with music. But dont sign up until all your friends do.
