Do you get a good feeling inside when someone likes your post?  Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed a way for you to really feel the love with the Like-A-Hug vest.

You wear the Like-A-Hug vest just like an ordinary vest. The vest is connects to your Facebook account. Every time someone likes something you posted on Facebook, the vest inflates, giving you the feeling of being hugged. You can even return the favor (as long as your friend is also wearing a Like-A-Hug vest.

Heres an explanation from Melissa Chow, one of the smart folks at MIT who created this thing:

Like-A-Hug is a wearable social media vest that allows for hugs to be given via Facebook, bringing us closer despite physical distance. The vest inflates when friends ‘Like’ a photo, video, or status update on the wearer’s wall, thereby allowing us to feel the warmth, encouragement, support, or love that we feel when we receive hugs. Hugs can also be sent back to the original sender by squeezing the vest and deflating it.

Dont go down to the Gap looking for the Like-A-Hug vest, as it it not available in stores yet.
