Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is beloved both inside and outside of the Apple kingdom. So we were shocked when he endorsed Android phones in a recent interview.

Even though late Apple CEO Steve Jobs vowed he would spend his last dying breath and every penny Apple had trying to destroy Android, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak says he’s a big fan of Android phones.
Ouch. That hurts. While Wozniak loves the beauty as well as the simplicity of his iPhone, he says, Android phones are not that much harder to deal with, and if youre willing to do the work to understand it a little bit
Wait, was that a ringing endorsement, or backhanded compliment? Whats the beauty of having to work to understand a device thats supposed to be intuitive? Besides, working to understand is probably easier for the brain/Wozn/iak than it is for the rest of us.
And what about our dear friend Siri? Woz says he’s been using Siri for a long time and used to love it when it was an independent application created for the iPhone. But ever since Apple bought Siri and built the software into the iPhone 4S, it doesn’t work as well as it used to.
So whats the bottom line, Woz? He still recommends the iPhone as the best choice for most users. The iPhone is a phone that is simple to use and does what you need it to do,” he says. “The people I recommend the iPhone 4S for are the ones who are just scared of computers altogether and don’t want to use them. The good news, for Apple, is that those kind of people represent the majority of people on the planet.
