A Pennsylvania mom faces six felony charges for allegedly hacking into her kids school computer to change their grades.
Talk about going from hero to zero! Her kids thought she was the worlds coolest mom, until the cops showed up. Now shes way more embarrassing than the average mom.
The mom worked for a Pennsylvania school district from 2008 through April 2011.
She has been accused of changing her daughters failing grade from an F to an M for medical, and then changing her sons 98 to a 99 hardly worth the time it takes to hack in.
She was arraigned on three counts of unlawful use of a computer and three counts of computer trespassing and altering data. All six charges are third degree felonies.
The school Districts assistant superintendent said, Im concerned on numerous levels. The school district is, doing everything [they] can to prevent this from happening again, and new security procedures are in place to better assure that our systems are protected from such attempts.
Lets hope so, because hacker moms have to be protected from themselves. This one could face a maximum of 42 years in prison or a $90,000 fine.
